The first day is over
Thursday is over. It was as exciting the day, as the tiring one. Early than usual rise, 8 hours of travel + 3 extra hours to add to your day (West coast)!! I was exausted, I was on for 21 hours!!!
I've met Rex, Ette and Devon, and Roland in the airport. It was an exciting reunion, except I've met Roland for the first time. Thanks for his taxi service, Roland
We all were on the way to hotel, only to be contacted by Adnil, were we met another group in the restaurant for the lunch/dinner
There we met memi with her husband, Wolfie, Adnil and Sarah and a few others. Thanks Adnil for the dinner
Spo-kan, as I found out a couple of days ago, how properly to pronounce it from an automated airline service, met us with an over 100 degree heat. It was hot, hot, hot. Thankfully, there are places with an air condition, that if you need, you can tuck in for a breather. :)
After we settle in the room, we (with Ette and Devon, Rex and me) took a stroll under the hot sun (woof, I was cooked), to buy a small mouse (not the live one, just the one for the computer) for Rex (am I repeating this?) We made it back to the hotel, were we met other Myst fans, who started arriving. Met Ja'de for the first time  I took some pictures, hope to put them on later on.
We all started gathering in the conference room. Everyone was chatting and itroducing each other. Some of the former Mysterium goers I already knew and recongnize. Later on, greydragon showed up. There were some beautiful crafts made by the fans.
We found out about the big news of the beta starting next week :) wow!!
The day ended, when we got to the Stone creamery (across the street) for the ice cream. It was delicious. :lick: Right before retiring to our rooms. Roland showed us Budgie's quilts, that he brought for Mysterium. They are so beautifully and masterfully done. You'll have to see for yourself in real in order to fully appreciate the artistry of their creator. Budgie, you rock
I went to sleep real late, but woke up early today, my body clock is still on the Eastern coast. A beautiful hot day awaits. I'm ready for the fun. /wave to everyone home. Thinking of you.
